Amelia Saw Journalist

I have worked as a journalist for more than a decade, with experience in print, digital and broadcast media.

Amelia Saw is a national crime reporter with News Corporation and creator of On Guard -- the groundbreaking new podcast series that sees former correctional officers lift the lid on what's really going on in Australia's prisons. Recently I have specialised in crime reporting, and I'm told I have a particular knack for getting people talking, before turning their insights into podcasts, well-crafted features and breaking news stories. I excel at bringing crimes and major news events to life through attention to detail and finding unique, untold stories. I am skilled at building rapport with the everyman, often connecting with them during the most challenging times of their lives and sharing their stories respectfully and accurately. My particular interests are in cold cases, domestic violence, women's issues and social justice.
