2-year-old Aryatara Shakya was chosen as Nepal’s new Kumari — a centuries-old tradition respected by both Hindus and Buddhists.

🔹 Chosen between ages 2–4, with flawless features and fearlessness.
🔹 Families gain immense honor and prestige.
🔹 But the Kumari’s childhood is very different — fewer playmates, rare outings, and a life lived mostly indoors.

Modern reforms have tried to make it easier (private tutors, TV, even small pensions), but the role still raises fascinating questions about culture, tradition, and modern society.

👉 For me, this is not about right or wrong — it’s about how cultures preserve identity while adapting to today’s world.

I had the privilege to successfully conduct a comprehensive training on Career Planning and Entrepreneurship for IPOs, DPOs, and Principals as a Lead Master Trainer at Four Points by Sheraton, Lahore.

1st September – 5th September 2025

This was a truly enriching experience where I played an important role as part of the TEVTA Placement Team, contributing towards empowering our institutions and leaders for a brighter future.
