It’s Ghiblifest in theaters right now!

We just watched Spirited Away last night and it reminded me of all the fun stores in Japan that had all things Ghibli.

Donguri Kyowakoku carries official Ghibli merchandise. Each store has unique touches from many different Ghibli films. Totoro appears at the bus stop. Calcifer keeps the fire going. The lantern that leads you to Zeniba’s house in Swamp Bottom lights the way.

We were so fortunate to see so many Donguri Kyowakoku shops on our travels in Japan. However we would get a chance to see even more along the way!

Sailing into the week like.. 🚢

It’s been a week since coming back from our trip to Japan and I gotta tell ya, I’m just getting back into the groove. Jet lag and jumping back into the daily routine of things was a bit of a challenge. Thanks Melatonin Gummies and Noise Cancelling Headphones for helping me get back on track.

We took an overnight ferry from Osaka to Beppu to visit the onsen town famous for the Jigoku Meguri(Seven Hells)—geothermal hot springs so hot no one is allowed to go in. It was my first time sailing overnight anywhere. Always thought my maiden voyage out to sea would be on a Disney Cruise haha

The Sunflower Ferry had a buffet, onsen bath, traditional and western style rooms. We opted for a traditional style room sleeping on the tatami mats on futons. The room was beautiful, we had a cool view out into the ocean. It was a little jarring at first, but eventually I got my sea legs. 🌊

Feeling Fantastic! 💙🤍

I feel like we’ve been time traveling through summer! It’s been a whirlwind. But the one common thread is that we’ve been with family all along the way.

Family was also at the heart of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Such a fun, fresh take on the story. I’m excited to see where their story leads them to in Avengers: Doomsday. 💚🖤

I happened to be in LA when the premiere was going on and it was super cool to look up to the skies and see Johnny Storm let it be known. ❤️‍🔥

Happy Revenge of the 5th Day!

One of my favorite parts of Batuu West is this fun blasty blast of magic heading down the ramp from Docking Bay 7.

Stormtroopers have terrible aim. How could they have created this not-so-hidden Mickey? And why do they not have it at Batuu East?
