There is something about adding a little whimsy to everyday life that just makes me so happy.

I picked up these adorable bread baskets and paper liners for my kids’ summer lunches, and I can’t even explain how much serotonin they’re bringing me. They make lunch feel a little more special, my kids absolutely love them, and they make serving lunch so quick and easy.

It’s such a simple change, but somehow it makes summer at home feel a little more magical. Bring on slow mornings, backyard lunches, and all the fun summer memories.

I have now seen this vintage pre 9/11 Christmas snow globe at the thrift store TWICE... and I have almost bought it TWICE. Unfortunately, whoever priced it seems to think they’re running an auction house instead of a thrift store.

Part of me wants to rescue it. The other part of me knows I shouldn’t pay that price. So here’s the deal: if you see this video, find the snow globe, and buy it before I cave... I’ll be mad. But I’ll also give you props because I’m clearly the idiot who posted it online for everyone to see.

Honestly, nothing says “millennial” quite like desperately wanting a vintage Twin Towers Christmas snow globe while casually mentioning Stitch in the same conversation.
