The editorial board of Dialogues in Music Therapy Education, the first open access journal dedicated to the education and training of music therapists, is excited to announce a call for submissions for a special edition focused on supervision! Submissions are due August 15 with accepted manuscript revisions due on October 1.

We encourage submissions from formal and informal educators, students, and those whose perspectives have historically been marginalized, and accept submissions in a variety of creative, research, and resource-sharing formats. We specially encourage submissions on the following topics:

• Cross-cultural music therapy supervision
• Ableism in music therapy supervision
• Racism in music therapy supervision
• Care-based music therapy supervision
• Hetero-normativism in supervision
• Student perspectives on music therapy supervision
• Academic advising
• Research mentorship
• Practicum supervision
• Internship supervision
• Virtual supervision
• Communication between faculty and internship supervisors

The editorial board of Dialogues in Music Therapy Education, a platinum open access journal, would like to invite you to submit for publication consideration in our inaugural November 2020 issue Research, Program, and/or Clinical Practice Briefs describing projects related to the academic and
clinical training of music therapists. We welcome submissions from faculty of all ranks, clinical supervisors, and students!

We especially encourage submissions regarding projects initially intended for conference presentation that, due to changes in conference format and/or cancellations in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, were not able to be disseminated in presentation format. Brief Reports should be 3-5 pages in length (including references) more information and to submit, please visit: https://journals.iupui.edu/index.php/DMTE/about/submissions. To be considered for the November issue, please submit your Brief Report no later than end of day on October 31, 2020.
