AI is moving fast. But are we asking enough questions about what it takes to power it?
Data centers bring real benefits, but also growing concerns around electricity, water, wildlife, noise, infrastructure costs, and the communities being asked to absorb them.
I took a deeper look at the data, the arguments on both sides, and one question that keeps coming back:
What is the real price of progress, and who gets to decide if it’s worth paying?
