My neighbor egged my car because I parked in front of his house and “blocked” the view of his Halloween decorations — so I gave him a little “gift” he won’t forget.
I’m a nurse, and the night before Halloween, I dragged myself home after a grueling 12-hour shift.
When I pulled in, I saw my landlord’s truck hogging the driveway again. It was close to midnight, and the only spot left was in front of my neighbor Derek’s place. I parked there, figuring it would be fine for one night.
The next morning, I walked outside and froze.
My car was completely covered in eggs — yolk smeared across the windshield, shells stuck everywhere. A trail of broken eggshells led straight to Derek’s door.
I marched over and knocked.
He opened the door, practically grinning.
“Derek, did you do this to my car?” I asked.
He didn’t even hesitate.
“Yeah. You parked in front of my house. You’re blocking my Halloween decorations,” he said.
I took a breath, trying to stay calm.
“You egged my car because I parked there? Derek, I’m a single mom with three kids. I parked closer because I had groceries and a stroller.”
He smirked.
“Not my problem. My guests need to see my decorations. Maybe next time you’ll think twice.”
I bit back my anger, forced a small smile, and turned to leave. But as I walked away, an idea came to me — a perfect one.
The next evening, right before his big Halloween party, I dropped off a little gift for him.
He tore it open with excitement — then instantly screamed.
“OH GOD, WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!”⬇️
