Thinking of hiking the iconic W Trek in Torres del Paine?

Here’s what you need to know before planning your own W Trek:

📍Location: Torres del Paine National Park, Chile
📅 Best Season: November to March (Patagonian summer)
🥾 Duration: 4–5 days
📏 Distance: ~70 km

We hiked this independently in May but stayed at Fantástico Sur’s refugios along the way (hot meals, warm beds and even a hot tub at one of them 😍). They also handled our permits. You could also opt to camp but you would have to carry our camping gear. And after a long day we were looking forward to a hot shower.

Things to Know:
* The weather changes fast. Layers are essential.
* You can do it without a guide if you plan properly.
* Book accommodations months in advance—they fill up quickly.
* Bring trekking poles—you’ll thank yourself later.

This trek isn’t just beautiful. It’s soul-stirring.

Goa may be the destination, but this road trip was all about the journey. 🌴🚗

Our family drive from Udupi to Goa took us along a coastline full of quiet beaches, forested forts, heritage stays, and plenty of delicious pit stops.

We based ourselves at:
🏠 Paradise Isle Beach Resort, Malpe – beachfront fun and easy family vibes.
🏠 Mavalli Beach Heritage House, Murdeshwar – where time slowed down and the sea was just steps away.

✨ Planning a road trip? Save these unexplored gems— especially if you love adventuring as a family.

Here’s what you need to know ⬇️

♦️Skip the crowds and visit during the shoulder months ie. May and November. ♦️Wildlife is still a plenty and the parks feel wild and raw.
♦️To optimise your experience, book a mix of mobile camps (that follow the herd) and safari lodges.
♦️Book in advances coz safari lodges fill up fast.
♦️Pack insect repellent and warm clothes for chilly mornings
♦️Book a hot air balloon Safari to get different POV
♦️Hire a knowledgeable guide- they can make or break your experience.
♦️If on a budget, Tanzanias Northern Serengeti offers better viewing than Kenya’s Mara.

Did you know? 🤔

Pondicherry is more than just its iconic French Quarter — the Union Territory actually includes 8 communes spread out beyond the main town. While the French charm fades out here, these areas have their own stories to tell. 🛕🌾

We explored these lesser-known spots and uncovered a quieter, more local side of Pondicherry — rich in history and full of surprises.
Still so much left to see — can’t wait to come back for more! 💛

Have you explored beyond the usual paths? Drop your favorite Pondy gems below! ⬇️

✨ Have you explored Pondicherry yet?

There’s something magical about this coastal town where French colonial elegance meets vibrant South Indian soul. 🌸🇫🇷 From quiet streets lined with bougainvillea and heritage buildings, to cozy cafés and golden hour strolls along the Promenade — Pondicherry invites you to slow down and soak it all in. 🧡

You can explore this charming town by hiring an auto or cycle rickshaw. Or even renting scooters and bicycles. But if you ask us the best way to explore this town we would say by foot.

📌 Save this for your next getaway — your soul will thank you.

✨ Looking for your next offbeat escape? Save this for later.

📍Tranquebar or Tharangambadi - Once a Danish trading post, this quiet coastal town in Tamil Nadu is a dreamy mix of colonial history, calm beaches, and soulful architecture.

🚗 Getting There:
* By Road: 6-hour scenic drive from Chennai via East Coast Road
* By Train: Nearest station is Mayiladuthurai (28 km)
* By Air: Fly into Tiruchirapalli, then drive 2.5 hours

🏡 Where to Stay:
We stayed at The Bungalow on the Beach — an old Danish colonial home turned hotel, with arched verandas and uninterrupted sea views (will share a full review soon)

🛕 Things to Do:
* Walk through the 17th-century Fort Dansborg
* Visit the weathered beauty of Masilamani Nathar Temple
* Catch golden hour at Tharangambadi Beach
* Explore the historic New Jerusalem Church
* Browse relics at the Maritime Museum

🚶 Getting Around:
The town is small and walkable. With all the attractions close proximity to each other.

So here’s your sign to discover India most people have miss.

Did you hear about the Chettiars?

The merchants who built beautiful mansions in the village of Kanadukathan. But sadly, most of these mansions have fallen on hard times and lie abandoned. Some, however, have opened their doors to the public for a small fee, offering a glimpse into a once-opulent bygone era.

The Antaos wandered through these grand halls, soaking in stories etched in stone and time.

If you ever find yourself in Tamil Nadu, don’t miss a chance to step into history—these hidden gems are waiting to be explored.

Postcards from Dal Lake.
A shikara ride on the Dal lake is a must do activity when visiting Srinagar. With gorgeous views like these we highly recommend it. One can get a glimpse of the local life on the lake. From the floating garden to the cultivation of Nadru one can enjoy these vistas while sipping khawa and buttery cookies.

To escape the crowds we drove to the hinterlands of Goa where .of.antaos found peace and serenity. Perhaps this is where you'll find us on some weekends.
