“I Fotografia,” the second single from *Short Stories* by Andronikos, is out now.

Dedicated to his grandmother, the piece offers one of the album’s most intimate moments. The melody carries the quiet weight of memory, while the ensemble leaves enough space for the story to appear without being overstated.

‘Short Stories’ marks the recording debut of Greek pianist and composer Andronikos Sotiriou. Shaped by his move from Greece to Barcelona, the album lets Mediterranean traces emerge naturally through rhythm, melody, and ensemble color.

Andronikos - Short Stories
Out September 18 on PKmusik

Greek pianist and composer Andronikos introduces Short Stories, his debut album.

Now based in Barcelona, Andronikos draws on his journey from Greece to Spain as he develops a musical language of his own. Built around the piano trio and expanded with strings, Short Stories moves between groove, improvisation and an intimate chamber sound, with a Mediterranean sensibility running through the music.

Five original compositions are joined by Andronikos’ arrangement of Chick Corea’s Humpty Dumpty.
