Investigate the claims thoroughly. If you believe humanity has no problem or that there are some different problems, present your case.

To give credence to your words, you must present the answer to the issue as well.

Christianity claims that to be human is to be dead. To have Christ is to find life. That life is made yours through his death. He died for you. It's not a mushy love story but a valiant conquering story. Death and sin once reigned here. It no longer does, and that will be actualized soon.

The only place it can continue to reign is in your heart unless Jesus conquers that heart and fills it with life through His loving spirit.

May god grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being so that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith...(Eph 3)

To presuppose that Christianity is merely social welfare is a flaw carried out by not only those who are anti-Christian but by many churches today.

It is the fastest way to turn an outpost of heaven into glorified soup kitchens. Rather than giving food for the souls of dead men, your only concern is to give food to dead men.

Jesus, more than any sage or teacher or rabbi or god in all our knowledge, knew that the greatest need for humanity was a new humanity. The most rotten organ on earth is the human heart.

So, He, being God in the flesh, substituted Himself as the first human from which we could be born after. His perfect status and pure heart before God could be "imputed" or given to us through our trusting of His life to be our sacrificial substitute.

Christians care for the poor not because of government allegiance , but because the more you realize what you have been given, the more you give. No one has given more than Jesus. And He ONLY gave to dead enemies of His. He made them living heirs.

In short - the tweet is misinformed.

Love is beautiful. God is love. In a post Christian society, we will be discipled to love ourselves more than God and our neighbor, causing our anemic view of love to begin with.

The God who "fearfully and wonderfully" created you did so with His glory in mind. You are most human when you glorify your maker.

We, as humans, rebel from this purpose and seek out our own glory. Yet, there is grace for you. If you want to truly marvel at the handiwork of God, understand your sin at depth. Understand the rebellion it causes in your heart.

Then, not only will you marvel at what has been fearfully and wonderfully made, you'll be confounded at why He remembers you to begin with.

His response to your rebellion is Jesus Christ - the sacrifice for your sins. Through Jesus, you are forgiven perfectly, once and for all. No longer a rebel, you become a child of God and truly live to glorify Him. Albeit imperfectly, you live to declare the excellence of the one who called you from darkness into His marvelous light. Your life, as a son/daughter of God is them finally conformed to the fearful and wonderful purpose it was made to dwell in.
