Dear all,
We had purchased my husband's engagement ring from malabar store in Sector-18, Noida in the month of October/ November-2022.
Last year a diamond was lost from the engagement ring and when I took it to the store, the store team told that since the diamond was lost it will be charged and would be permanently repaired.
After paying Rs 2600 for the single diamond repair, We were assured by their team that the diamond would not be lost even after regular use.
They also suggested to get the ring regularly serviced once a year. After getting the ring seviced and having worn it for about 15 days only the same diamond fell once again.
If this is the kind of poor service their team provides, where a repaired diamond falls after normal 15 days wear, we all should re-think about moving to other brands, where they provide quality services.
I must mention here that other brands provide free of cost services, even Pearl or diamond if it happens due to their mistake.
Also, to bring to your notice the issue was taken up with their store at Vegas Mall, Dwarka, where they have outrightly rejected the possibility of repair without charges as this was purchased and repaired from a different store.
While selling the jewellery they confirm that the issues, if any, in the jewellery, found at any point of time can be repaired at any of their stores as they claim to be a brand of national presence. and now when i intend to get it repaired, why am i being asked to go to a store located far away. Suppose I am transferred to another city, do you expect me to travel back to get the issue rectified?
Such kind of pathetic service i have not witnessed with any of the other leading brands in India such as my engagement ring, the 2nd pic and no diamond has fallen even after regular use. Nothing of the sort of yearly repair was told regarding that neither required
