This week on stream I finished Dragon Warrior!

It’s weird sometimes to go back and play older games, but this holds up so well. It’s amazing how the overall gameplay hasn’t really changed that much over the years!

We dove right into starting Dragon Warrior II, so we’ll see how that goes!

Pokemon GO Tour Sinnoh!!!

Erin and I walked damn near a marathon this weekend for GO Tour, but we had such a great time!

We walked Routes, hustled around for Lake Spirits (I managed to snag a full Shiny Trio!) and did so many research tasks and raids!!

All in all, this was an interesting event! I was really happy that the research tasks refreshed every hour, that would have sucked otherwise. But having literally only one task, that revolved specifically around powering up Pokemon was pretty weird.

I really enjoyed using Spatial Rend, and I think that might be a standard for Community Days or events like this.

I was excited to chase the Lake Spirits in the wild, that was a neat feature.

All in all, this event got me really excited for next year for GO Tour Unova haha!

Rolled credits on In Stars and Time last stream!

At the end of it, I really loved this game and only cryed a little bit at the ending. It had some of the best characters this year, and this was certainly the game I laughed at the most this year. An easy recommend for people that enjoy heartfelt storys in games.

Sadly, as much as I enjoyed the story, the gameplay elements started to wear thin after a bit. One of my least favorite things is when a game feels too long, and this absolutely did that. Now, there's narrative reasons for it to a point, but I would have loved it to be like a third shorter overall.

Again, this was a fantastic story and some of the most effortless and authentic q***r representation in a game this year. Absolutely check this out.

So I don't talk about it a lot, but I've been working the last few years on getting foriegn language dex entries in Pokemon HOME. It's a fun thing to do with the service, and I finished a fun goal. I got all languages for Okidogi, one of the new legendaries. I've been working on trading since the DLC came out, so this is really exciting!
