Shelbourne and Linfield will play each other live on RTÉ for a place in the UEFA conference league 📺

Shelbourne came out on top when the two sides met in the Champions League qualifier with a 2-1 aggregate win. Shels have a quick turn around from their heartbreaking defeat at home to Rijeka while Linfield secured a come back win against Vikingur 💪

Sky Sports have announced that they will be taking steps to ensure Roy Keane won't face fan altercations this season 📺

The former United captain has signed a new contract with the broadcaster with Sky's Chief Sports Officer Jonathan Licht stating : "It’s our responsibility to make sure we don’t expose any of our team to those sorts of incidents."

Keane has received further praise from Gary Hughes, the director of football at Sky Sports, saying : "Roy is a great guy, you want him on your team." 💚

Daniel Wiffen has set out his stall for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics 💪

The Armagh man has recently changed his training base after he left Loughborough University, where he had trained before his 2024 double medal effort in Paris. Wiffen now intends to base himself back in Ireland while doing stints in the USA alongside his brother Nathan 🇮🇪

A League of Ireland referee is set to become the oldest graduate to An Garda Síochana later this month 👮‍♂️

Michael Connolly has refereed in both the men and women's top flight for over a decade before deciding to join the Garda College in Templemore 📚

The 50 year old said to the Limerick Leader : "that one thing that I can bring to the guards is the ability to remain calm no matter how much pressure is in the situation."
