Help support the WAC Clearinghouse! Please help us continue our mission of making high-quality scholarly publications available at no cost to everyone. Currently, the Clearinghouse provides:

• More than 235 peer-reviewed, open-access books
• A dozen active peer-reviewed academic journals and access to a dozen others in archival form
• The WAC Repository’s rich collection of peer-reviewed professional and pedagogical resources
• CompPile, the leading database in writing studies, and TCBib, a database for the technical and professional writing

The Clearinghouse is making a positive impact, with more than 5.9 visitors and more than 6.3 million downloads of journal articles and books in the past 12 months and, since 2017, more than a dozen awards for its books and another dozen for journal articles.

To make this possible, the Clearinghouse relies on the volunteer labor of more than 200 people for nearly all of its work (keeping its production costs to less than 20% of those borne by the average scholarly press). There are still unavoidable costs, however, including:

• Payments for professional copyediting
• Charges for ISBN numbers and DOI registrations
• Charges for its server
• Purchases of software licenses

Please consider a donation of as little as $5. Fifteen sustaining contributions of $10 per month, for example, will cover the cost of producing a book, and just 75 one-time contributions of $20 will cover the cost of copy editing one journal issue. You can help continue to make the CompPile database available to the writing studies community, expand its collection of books and journals, and grow its rich set of resources for the WAC and writing studies communities.
