Who’s coming to Daiwa Reel Connections Day? 🎣🔥

I’ll be at Woolwich on Saturday 6 December, hanging out with the Daiwa team and a stack of ambassadors and influencers. I’m also bringing my Hobie kayak along — so if you’ve got questions about kayak fishing, tournament setups, or forward-facing sonar, come grab me for a chat.

If you’re wondering why I’m holding 10 spanners… honestly, same. 😂

A tiny rant in the October Monthly Report about losing every 10mm spanner I own somehow turned into THIS.

A Collective member gave me a whole box.

In the October Monthly Report, I briefly mentioned that I can never, ever find a 10mm spanner.
Didn’t think much of it.

Then this week…
A Collective member turns up to coffee and hands me a BOX filled with TEN 10mm spanners.

So now I’m standing here with 10 spanners, questioning my life choices, and wondering why this is even a storyline in a fishing podcast. 😂🔧

For listeners, nothing changes — you’ll still find the podcast in all the usual places (Spotify, Apple, etc.). But I’d love your help: if you have any issues listening, please let me know so I can fix it quickly. 👍

✨ Quick clarification ✨
I’ve had a few questions about the podcast after the recent hosting platform change.

👉 For you as a listener, absolutely nothing has changed.
You can still listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you usually listen—all your apps and subscriptions still work the same.

The hosting platform switch only happens in the background. It helps with things like analytics and advertising (including new dynamic ads), but the way you find and play the podcast is exactly the same. 🎧🐟

So keep tuning in each week, the episodes are all still right where you expect them!

Podcast Update!

The Bream Fishing Project Podcast has officially moved to a new hosting platform, and everything seems to have gone smoothly. All the latest 100 episodes are live and ready to listen on your favourite podcast app. Earlier episodes aren’t showing yet, but I’ll work on making them available in the future.

This upgrade also means I can now use dynamic ad insertion. In simple terms, that allows me to refresh or update advertising in the podcast without re-uploading episodes. It’s a big step forward and opens the door for new opportunities with sponsors and supporters.
