FOR SINGLES PLANNING TO MARRY...

* Don't marry for s*x. Marriage is more than s*x

* Don't marry because you are getting old. They don't catch late comers in marriage

* Don't marry because you are lonely. There are thousands of people who are married but still lonely in marriage

* Don't marry because you become pregnant outside marriage. This is why you must stay away from pre-marital s*x.

* Don't marry because you don't want to
lose the person. When you marry someone that is not putting the same efforts into your relationship as much as you do, you may regret getting married to him/her

*Don't marry because of pressures from family and friends. So many people have made marital errors and lost their lives because of pressure

* Don't marry because you like the idea of
marriage and admire every wedding you see.

* Don't marry because all your friends are
getting married;

But,
-Get married because you want to fulfil
destiny and help your partner to fulfil God's purpose for his/her life

-Get married because you want to be a
helpmate to an imperfect person who loves & accepts you for who you are, not who you pretend to be!

-Get married because you are ready physically, spiritually, emotionally, mentally, financially, etc and you are convinced in your spirit that it is time

-Get married because you are ready to build a kingdom marriage that will be a model and draw men to God

ZAF commander urges African Air Forces to unite against climate-induced disasters

THE Zambia Air Force (ZAF) is hosting a crucial planning meeting for the Association of African Air Forces (AAAF) where the commander called for greater collaboration and humanitarian efforts to address the growing threat of climate-induced disasters on the continent.

Lieutenant General Oscar Nyoni, ZAF Commander and current AAAF Chairperson, emphasised the need for African air forces to work together to provide aid and assistance to countries facing natural disasters.

He pointed to the severe drought currently affecting Zambia as an example of the challenges posed by climate change.

"We must assess and recommend on how we as African Air Chiefs can pull our resources to come to the aid of those in need," Lt Gen Nyoni said.

"This engagement will not only improve the operational effectiveness of our Air Forces but also strengthen the bonds of solidarity among the nations."

The meeting officially started yesterday in Lusaka bringing together representatives from United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE) and Air Force Africa (AFafrica).

Participants discussed various topics, including the finalisation of non-commissioned officers' guidelines and the establishment of women peace and security representatives.

AAAF Secretary General Col Kristin Cullinan expressed her satisfaction with the progress made by the association in recent years.

She highlighted the importance of collaboration among member nations to ensure the success of future initiatives, particularly in response to disasters.

Col Cullinan also commended AAAF for laying the foundation for integration of gender perspectives into Peace, Security and Airpower efforts in the past two years.
