Gurkha heritage Cigar Review:

Construction 6.5/10 had an uneven burn, had to touch up once
Flavor 8/10
Complexity 7/10
Total Score: 7.2/10
Ni****ne level 7.5/10

Cherry undertones complemented by the espresso and possibly dark chocolate? Paired extremely well with Wild Turkey 101. Took me a bit to figure out a nice pairing. Tried out the Chattanooga Whiskey 111 and the Benchmark Full Proof but both were a bit too overpowering. The cigar then morphs into more of a cherry and cedar combination that’s really nice at the end of the first third.

Along with a lingering cherry note, about halfway through there seems to be a strong to***co and earth flavor, but a bit less complex than the punchy introduction of this cigar. I was a bit disappointed here because of the expectation set at the first light of this cigar.

As many of the Gurkha ci**rs I’ve had, this one hits a solid leather note combined with black pepper in the introduction to last third. Towards the middle of the last third in transitions to a leather and almond combo that’s really interesting

Fernando Leon Family Reserve Cigar review

Construction- 8.5/10
Taste - 8.5/10
Complexity - 8.5/10
Final Score - 8.5

Ni****ne level - 5/10
Liquor Pairing - High Plains Rye

Within the first third I get slight nuttiness, though not overwhelming, and it’s followed by light baking spice, more specifically nutmeg (not cinnamon).

Entering into the second third, I get bitter notes of dark cocoa, and ever so slight notes of espresso and earth. Note: these notes of dark cocoa and espresso come more to the forefront when paired with the High Plains Rye, open’s up some subtle sweetness. Think of an Irish Cream Espresso, sprinkled with nutmeg.
Half way through the second third, more notes of earth come to the forefront, though not overwhelming when taking a sip of the High Plains. This is followed by

Entering into the final third, notes of cashews and almonds come to the forefront. Then it is followed again by nutmeg. Entering the middle section of the final third, I get hit with notes of corn from the High Plains which then surprisingly brings out notes of leather on the cigar.
Cocoa and notes of cashew follow. The cigar finishes with notes of nutmeg and cashews.

Concluding Thoughts: The first thing that stands out to me about this cigar was how well rounded it was throughout the whole cigar. It was complex left me with not leave much more to be desired. For a $10 cigar, I really had no complaints. It had a very good construction and was medium to full body in strength. For a $10 cigar, I really had no complaints. Overall, A great well rounded stick.

La Gloria Cubana (Classic) Cigar review:

With a total score of 7.7/10 and a liquor pairing of Buffalo Trace...
Construction 7.5/10
Taste 7.5/10
Complexity 8/10
Ni****ne level 6/10

Upon first light up, I get notes of citrus and very light white pepper.
I get very light cayenne pepper on back of the throat. It’s not offensive, but just enough to notice. Pairing it with the Buffalo Trace makes way for more citrus, and adds a new note of leather and the flavor that is left behind when the two are paired are notes of fruit, akin to a fruit cocktail. These notes continue throughout the the rest of the first third.
Light pepper notes make yet another entrance.

Entering into the second third, the pepper notes drop off and very faint notes of cinnamon toast enter the palate. A very pleasant addition to the already developing flavors. This opens back up to, again, citrus, and cinnamon plays integral part within the second third. Light almonds open up the final third it becomes much more well rounded as light pepper hit the back of the throat which adds a little more complexity. Light leather, again is reintroduced into the palate thereafter.

Into the final third, the notes re-transition into notes that were in the first third. Notes of citrus and light white pepper.

Concluding thoughts:
This cigar is well balanced and complex enough to keep things interesting. but not too complex to where you’re having to give it your undivided attention. I generally like a more loose drawl. This, however is tighter, but not too tight to where you’re having to constantly fight against it. This is however a little bolder than normal in terms of the amount of Ni****ne you’re getting. It has good construction and I didn’t really have to touch it up.

La Mission L'atelier Review:

With a total score of 8.2/10 and a liquor Pairing: Nelson Bros (Classic) Tennessee Bourbon Whiskey

Construction 9/10
Taste 7/10
Complexity 8.5/10

Nicotene level 6.5/10

Upon first light up, I get almond and tree nuts with a hint of chocolate in the background. A thinly coated chocolate almond on the palate and a hint of leather.
Upon the retrohale reveals light baking spices. Light cinnamon/nutmeg that comes through on the retrohale, and a touch of cedar.

On the 2nd third, more cocoa sweetness and some more pronounced cinnamon that follows a few minutes after. The cinnamon notes then dissipates after a little while and continues to cocoa.

Leading into the final third, you get hit with notes of cedar and nutmeg, that soon dissipates a little, but still continues to linger on. The cedar and nutmeg almost completely dissipates and then they are followed by notes of chocolate and nuts. Towards the grand finale. Cinnamon almonds take over with bits of cocoa on the backend.

Concluding thoughts: I really enjoyed this cigar. It was very complex and it was recommended to me by an employee of the cigar lounge I was at. The flavor for me was a little too nutty for my taste. I would recommend this cigar to anyone who throughly enjoys sweeter and nuttier flavors. Even though this was a little too nutty for me, I would gladly smoke this again.
