Let's go people get involved!

Introduction time people today we have our Residents AuthentiK. Here's a little about them and their journey so far.

AuthentiK was originally formed around 5 years back now by Chad with his good friend Harry, back then we were known as 2onTIK. We made the decision to change the name when we started getting on more and more gigs and was told by professionals in the industry that it would probably be for the best haha.

We went on to Dj for almost every event that the city has to offer including LocaL, ILLICIT and many more.

We really started to make an impression when we started our Journey with Deja vu events were in a two year span we joined forces with Josh Crow and really started playing some very memorable sets. Playing with the likes of. Ben Hemsley, Alan fitzpatrick, Josh Baker, Mason collective, seb zito and many many more.

How ever the time came for us to move on from Deja vu and also it was time for Harry to move on and pursue his own path in the industry.

Which then brings us on to Ryan Mctigue aka Tegga joining the AuthentiK brand.

Tegga joining me was just written in stone and was meant to be. He had been watching us do our thing from the background whilst practically joining on all our practice sessions showing an ear for music that I've not seen pulling out tracks that I'd never heard of all the while his Djing capabilities were Improving day in day out. So it was really a no brainer.

This brings us onto the start of our journey with GateNº5.

Been asked to join GateNº5 was a really exciting time for both of us, knowing that we were going to be given some amazing
opportunities to play at Hulls most iconic underground venue.

It also gave us the opportunity to step into the promotion game as Chad was asked by Lee to be the event manager for the venue.

Since taking over in the final quarter of last year to now there have been more events in the past 7 months then the previous last 2 - 3 years, this all being down to the hard drive of everyone in the GateNº5 team.

The recent list of events and bookings speak for themselves.

Anyways we hope to see as many of you all on the dance floor come the 25th of May as this going to be one epic way to close the venue down !

As most off you will already know wAFF is one off the biggest names in the industry. He has been tearing up the scene now for 10 years plus now playing all over the world and headlined all the biggest and best venues in the world playing out his sound to the masses.

What makes it even better is the fact he is a local lad and such an amazing character and we couldn't think of any one better to help us close down this special venue on day one of our closing weekend !!
