A couple of weeks ago, I shared a 60F UND ME (obfuscated because fb just loves to bury these kinds of things, which is also why the lenq will be in comments), I said I'd have another to share later for another friend fighting cancer. That time has come.
There's a running joke that the first thing they ask you when you go to hospital is "Cash or credit card?" That is not true at all. The first thing they ask is "Do you have insurance?" The second is "Cash or credit card?" because even if you have insurance, there are deductibles and co-pays, and they usually want that up-front. So, instead of patients being able to rest, and look after themselves and do all they can to heal, they are often under stress because of the financial burden due to our for-profit healthcare system, making these sorts of things necessary in order to help ease that burden and alleviate the stress.

This time, the patient in question is my artist friend, Chris Malidore . He is battling Hodgkins Lymphoma. The good news is that it is one of the easier ones to treat, although Chris's blood gremlins are stage 4, and the treatments are kicking his arse a bit as well as the arses of the gremlins. He and his wife and caregiver Delphine Malidore could use a bit of help, and this is where you come in. If you can, please drop some dollars in the proverbial bucket; but if nothing else, you could help by sharing the lenq far and wide.
