Samsung launches the latest Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, Flip7, Flip7 FE, and Watch8 Series in a Samsung Unpacked event in Brooklyn, New York today. Thanks to Samsung Singapore, I was able to get hands-on with these devices earlier.

Truthfully speaking, on the physical side, there are not many changes in the fold or flip phones. One thing that is commendable is that Samsung has improved the Fold7’s camera and squeezed it until it is lighter and almost the same thickness as the S25 Ultra. However, I was quite surprised (in a bad way) that the battery is only 4,400mAh to power so many screens.

As for the Flip7, I like that the FlexWindow is now edge-to-edge (4.1-inch), and the battery has been bumped up to 4,300mAh (Flip6 – 4,000mAh). And now, it comes with Samsung DeX for that desktop experience when connected to a screen. As mentioned, the rest of the design seems unchanged.

The Flip7 FE (Fan Edition) is very similar to Flip6. Samsung mentioned that this is catered for people who wants to own a Flip but need not fork out the premium pricing of the flagship Flip7.

The Samsung Watch8 has a simple and minimalistic look. If you are looking for a clean looking smart watch, this might be for you. It has a white version which I think it very nice.

The Samsung Watch8 Classic has a working dial that looks more rugged. It has the same features as the Watch8.

For Samsung Watch8 Series, it introduces the Antioxidant Index for the first time in a smartwatch, enabling users to measure carotenoid levels quickly, and make informed lifestyle choices for healthy ageing. Sleep Apnea feature for Galaxy Watch will also be available in Singapore,

This is not a new product but an enhanced one. The storage has been upgraded from 32GB to 64GB and it is wearing the hero Titanium Blue color strap.

The Trump T1 Phone will be available from August 2025 (Most medias are reporting release date of September 2025. The Press Release is stating August 2025) at USD499.
