At just six years old, Bridger Walker stepped between his little sister and a charging German shepherd. With her safety as his heart's driving force, he took the attack meant for her—suffering 90 stitches in the process.

He said, “If someone had to die, I thought it should be me. I’m the big brother.”

In recognition of his bravery, the World Boxing Council named Bridger an Honorary World Champion, recording him in history as the best fighter in the world—for one day.

It's the rawest form of love—not the absence of fear, but the will to face it for the sake of someone else. It’s a rare kind of strength, the kind that holds families together, that builds civilizations from the ground up.
