Hayanuki (早抜) is a technique that combines ten techniques from "Tatehiza No Bu" (立膝之部) into one long sequence to train quick drawing and cutting continuously while sitting in Tatehiza position wearing samurai amour.

There are two versions practiced in Jikyo-Juku. The one demonstrated in this video is the two handed version called Morote Hayanuki (諸手早抜). The other version is the one handed version called Katate Hayanuki (片手早抜).

The order of techniques goes as follows:
1. 横雲 Yokogumo (Cloud Bank)
2. 虎一足 Toraissoku (One Leg of a Tiger)
3. 稲妻 Inazuma (Lightning)
4. 浮雲 Ukigumo (Floating Clouds)
5. 颪 Oroshi (Wind)
6. 鱗返 Urokogaeshi (Sudden Turn)
7. 岩波 Iwanami (Waves Breaking Against the Rocks)
8. 波返 Namigaeshi (Returning Wave)
9. 瀧落 Takiotoshi (Cascading Waterfall)
10. 受流 Ukenagashi (Flowing Block)

Hayanuki used to be completed within one minute. However in order to avoid compromising on quality for speed, nowadays it is often done in a slower pace focusing on quality of each technique.
