Review of from this past weekend.
Here at GMD one of the things we continue to pride ourselves on is our associations with other good humans in the training community. We constantly strive to expose “our clients” to other quality providers of content. Our Sling'N Lead Podcast is literally 150 episodes deep so far of devoting TJ Ramsey and my time and treasure to putting quality info out about other providers, coaches, and frankly friends. We constantly host quality training from all the best in the industry.
We had the pleasure of hosting Jonathan Willis of Gunset Training Group, LLC for his course this past weekend. Our team then took advantage of his presence on Sunday for some in service updates and training as well as an effort to continue to spin up our cadre.
Put simply he nailed the course on both days. Saturday he taught to a FULL room of good humans most of whom are our clients and I’m sure the rest will be soon.
Trauma, CPR, AED, Vehicle accidents, Civilian carry and use of medical equipment, and a solid dose of realism were all discussed over the weekend. Make no mistake this dude comes from a fraternity of solid shooters. It’s nice to see someone with such a well rounded skill set covering a wide spectrum of topics germane to our messaging.
I have trained a lot with many folks and this was one of the better weekends of instruction I’ve ever seen.
With deep respect to all others who provided me medical training in the past this was THE BEST job I’ve seen someone do of delivering this content.
I’ll work more with him in the future for these sorts of courses and I provide an unmeasured and emphatic recommendation that everyone in this community receives this content from him asap. IT’S THAT GOOD.
Mr Willis, welcome to the ever amazing fraternity of men and women I’ve broken bread with after training. Many of our deepest friends and family have sat at that table. Can’t wait to do it again.
