Understanding social media analytics 🤫⁠

We all hear the terms "engagement," "reach," and "impressions" regularly, but do you know what those terms mean?⁠
⁠
⭐Engagement: Arguably the most important of the 3 metrics when measuring your social success. Engagement is the only one of the 3 to involve the user directly. This means you've encouraged them to take action, whether it's a like, comment, save, etc. ⁠
⁠
⭐️Impression: This was when your content was delivered to someone's feed. Whether they saw it or not (reach) is a different story. Impressions measure how many times a post was DISPLAYED, whether it was clicked (or tapped) on.⁠
⁠
⭐️Reach: The number of unique people who see your content. First, the content is delivered to your feed (impressions), then a user has to interact with the platform to see the content in their feed (reach).⁠
⁠
For people to see your content, it is crucial to track these metrics because, over time, you'll start to understand what sort of content encourages your audience to engage, and that's the key to success!⁠

1. Find your niche! Who is your target audience? Are you selling a product or a service? Are you promoting content? 🤔 ⁠

2. Respond to your DMs! 📲 Majority of people who are interested in your services are messaging you! Never leave them on read! ⁠

3. Collabs! 👯 Connect with people who are in the same market as you! Or. ask your clients for testimonials! ⁠

4. Try to be available! Yes, enjoy your life, but have a habit to check your phone at least every 2 hours to engage with other accounts, and check DMs or comments. ⁠

5. Engage!! It is so important to engage with your audience! Let them know you and your brand. ⁠
⁠
6. Be yourself! 😊 Don't pretend to be someone that you are not! Show the world who you are and what your business represents! ⁠
