I searched for the one I have for years. Thinking I would never find a Pepsi twin boom wrecker Ihad onlyseenin the Nylint Inc collection aucton When I posted it, everybody said it was a custom. Now, this auction shows up. I believe i've seen this one sell previously I have now seen 4 sell since I posted mine I'm sharing this so I can follow it. But if you're interested, this is a pretty awesome collection selling in the first of august.

I saw this Nylint Red Arrow St Louis Missouri, in a local antique store about 3 yrs ago, been sitting collecting dust there till it found it's way home. The seller wouldn't budge on the price, said father drove for the company. I have seen one sell online but nobody makes just one the made in the early 80s, judging from the box. Any info let me know.

Here is a RARE one I saw out antiquing with the wife this weekend. The story is the Ertl John Deer logging truck was produced with it's competitor "International"logo on the truck grill by mistake and though recalled some where sold. I have seen them but would say one in the box is pretty rare find. I have John Deere trucks but I don't collect this scale definitely one to have for the John Deere collector.

Going through the ErtI boxes I came across this interesting find I got awhile ago in an auction near the Chrysler plant Detroit Michigan. Maybe a custom, maybe an employee gift nice die cut labels, It does have a truck number on it. A nice add to the Mopars

I have beloved memories of TG&Y Stores as a kid, and why the trucks were a must have for the collection. I found the Ertl TG&Y in the late 1990s and recently acquired the Nylint version a hard to find in any condition. I believe the Nylint was the first, late 1970s based on the tall exhaust stacks and the Nylint logo design. The date stamp on the Ertl is 1978 or 1988 most likely 1988 based on the truck features and it's unlikely TG&Y produced two similar trucks in the same time period.

TG&Y was a beloved American retail chain that operated from 1935 to 2001. Founded in Oklahoma City by Rawdon Tomlinson, Enoch Gosselin, and Raymond Young, the chain was known for its variety of products and affordable prices, the stores were designed to resemble a modern-day general store. At its peak, TG&Y had over 900 stores across 29 states, making it one of the largest retail chains in the United States. TG&Y’s nostalgic charm has endured, with many people fondly remembering shopping trips to the iconic stores and I for sure am one.

Has any one seen this Budweiser poster with a Nylint No. 820 from 1986 or know anything about it came out of Rockford IL but produced in San Diego Ca.
