Last day of our Pride Merch Drop goes to Spock, sporting the q***r progress flag pin. Spock is such a q***r icon for the fandom, and has been for generations. Though he’s not canonically q***r, I think a lot of us have embraced him in the community 🏳️‍🌈🖖🏼🏳️‍⚧️

Pride is such an important time, not only for celebrating the LGBTQ+ family, but also as a protest for rights and care of our q***r members. Seven of Nine and Jadzia Dax, for us at the Duras Sisters Podcast, represent le***an and transgender pride. These two designs are redraws from ones Rhianna designed a few years ago. You can see the change in her art throughout the years.

Transgender people are integral to the LGBTQ+ community. We wouldn’t have Pride as we know it today without trans activists. Trans people of color such as Marsha P Johnson,Sylvia Rivera, and Stormé DeLarverie were key individuals at the Stonewall Uprising. The trans community is under attack and needs our voices and support to fight for their freedoms in the months and years to come. To our trans siblings, you are welcome and loved in this community and we will fight for you as you have fought for us! You are all as strong as Dax.

Le****ns play an important role in the q***r community. When the AIDS epidemic broke out in the 1980s, le***ans stepped in to advocate for gay, q***r men, and trans individuals who had AIDS. They donated blood and brought comfort and care to a whole generation of gay and trans people when their families and doctors forsook them. Le****ns have faced a great deal of fetishization and discrimination over the years, so remember to stand up for the le***an community. To all you wonderful le***ans, you are amazing like Seven of Nine!

Q***r ships in Star Trek. 🏳️‍🌈🖖🏼We revamped this design to include the new Trek shows that didn’t exist last time we made this merch! (Yes Kirk&Spock did a full-circle comeback for SNW 😂). We want to celebrate the q***r ships both cannon and fanon to recognize the long history of shipping culture and slash fiction that housewives created. Shipping culture has its roots in q***r ships since Amok Time was released in 1967 and we owe much of our q***r ships to those lovely 60s ladies 🫡🏳️‍🌈
