Rest in Eternal Peace, Jayson Montero Rubis 🫡 🇺🇸 (1973-2025)
In this deeply moving episode of the Twenty400 Block - Podcast, we honor the life and legacy of Jayson M. Rubis, the beloved brother of Twenty400 Block Podcast's very own Jonnyroobs and Jeffrey Rubis. A proud twenty-year Navy veteran who served with unwavering dedication and was honorably discharged, Jayson is remembered with full military honors in a series of poignant funeral services held in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. This episode centers on intimate footage capturing the visitation on June 3, the funeral service on June 4, and the burial service, followed by a dinner reception on June 24, held at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, and Max’s Restaurant Cuisine of the Philippines, respectively. On-the-spot interviews with guests are featured as well.
This marks the 2nd collaborative effort from Green Thumb Studios and Twenty400 Block Media. Filmed on location and edited with care by Dave Alegre of Green Thumb Studios, with additional footage, edits, and archived photos/videos by Jonnyroobs of Twenty400 Block Media, this episode is a heartfelt tribute to Jayson’s service, sacrifice, and the profound impact he had on his family and community. Join us as we reflect on his remarkable journey, celebrate his enduring legacy, and share a moment of collective gratitude for a true hero
Special thanks: DeAntre Smith of Dignity Memorial, the staff at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home, the staff at Albert G. Horton Veterans Cemetery, to the management/staff at Max's Restaurant Cuisine of the Philippines (Virginia Beach), and Byron Moseley.
