As a member of Clwb Rhedeg Pontardawe Running Club, I wanted to bring a fresh look to the logo and identity. This redesign was a passion project inspired by the club’s amazing sense of community the club brings.
At its heart is a representation of a bridge, symbolizing connection and the club’s deep roots in the community. Surrounding it are rolling hills and the flowing river tawe, reflecting the stunning landscapes of Pontardawe that inspire every run.
The color palette prominently features blue, a longstanding club tradition, symbolizing calmness, trust, and resilience.
Secondary, a light, refreshing blue symbolizing the open skies and sense of freedom in every run.
Then we have a vibrant green that represents the scenic hills and natural landscapes surrounding Pontardawe.
Muted Orange brings autumn leaves and adventure for those Trail Runs.
