New blog post!
In today's blog post, I go deep into some personal experiences with shame and offer some level-up tips.

by Heather Campbell   Today I am keeping it real. I’m going to dive into some dark stuff of my past that created patterns of shame and unworthiness; many patterns I still deal with today and am still healing from. I often struggle with honoring my worth, as it still presents itself to me tainted ...

Women are powerful.

Never underestimate what is possible when you are willing to focus you energy.

Every day the impossible is made possible by women who thought it could never happen. And then it does.

The dream comes true. The mountaintop is conquered. The fight is won.

Today is International Women’s Day.

Celebrate the power of women all around the world making our world better.

It’s a little after 5am and I’m doing yoga.

I’m not great at yoga. Just started. But it is helping me stretch and strengthen.

I was especially impressed with my bed hair today.

But the good news is I didn’t stop to get pretty on my way to my living room. I didn’t take time to brush my hair.

Instead I went straight to the workout.

You see, change can be a challenge, and I knew it was best not to be distracted on my way to something hard for me.

Pair a new habit you are doing with something you already do. That will make it easier to grow that habit.

For me? Well i get up, then I do my new yoga in my living room.

No audience.

And it’s a good thing because I know my bed head is not my best look.

And I did it.

Check.

As much as we would like to go back in time and have a do over, it just isn’t possible.

So the next best thing is to look forward to make an even better ending.

Start with having a very clear picture of what you want. And identify steps to reach that goal.

A goal without a plan is just a wish.

And start today.

This is me attending a virtual conference.

The lowest screen is Hill Harper who is talking about ideas to eliminate the achievement gap in our schools between different student groups.

It’s the same message we all need to hear.

We all need innovation. We all need new ways to engage in our work. We all need connection with each other.

So I am challenging us all to challenge the status quo.

COVID has given this great opportunity to do things in new ways.

For me, I’m reaching out to strangers through my computer screen to ask how are they doing their important work.

It takes a little work, because I can’t just walk up to them and start chatting it up.

I’m not always successful, but I am meeting new people and hearing great ideas.

And we started our podcast The Things We Share.

So how are you evolving? What ways are you expanding?

We thrive from growing.

Keep an eye on how you can innovate.

Take time to unplug. It’s important.

We all have layers of stress and to do lists and attempts that don’t go as planned. These pile up and cloud our programming with bad code.

To restart, you need to unplug.

Does that look like a good book? A hot bath? A walk in the park?

What is your favorite way to unplug?
