We are constantly dropping knowledge in our engagement with organizations and we keep getting kudos. So we thought we would drop some such knowledge here as a preview of what you get when working with us.

It is easy to take on a negative mentality when framing environmental problems. In this way we get to blame OTHER people for the reasons nature has degraded over the years. What if we stopped blaming and started taking responsibility? Think for a moment....."How am I part of the problem? How can I be more innovative instead of pushing the same old actions that hasn't worked to date?"

You get out of that negative spiral by asking for help. By bringing in outside experts that can help you see where you are spinning your wheels and get you back on track towards achieving your goal. Let us help you get back on track by showing you innovative approaches to conservation impact that help both people and nature.

Excited to share that we’re presenting at the Partners in the Outdoors Conference this week, hosted by Colorado Parks and Wildlife! We’ll be spotlighting our innovative work to advance conservation impact and community well-being—specifically, our highly requested report on improving equity in visitation at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge near Denver.

This incredible urban refuge was once underutilized by its neighboring communities. By engaging directly with residents and co-creating a practical action plan, we helped the agency boost visitation and provided a clear roadmap for authentic community engagement. Today, the refuge welcomes over a million visitors annually, and partner organizations continue to thank us for an approach that empowers them to better support both the agency and the community.

Looking forward to connecting with fellow leaders and sharing strategies that make conservation more inclusive and impactful!

LCS has been recognized as an innovative company serving the global conservation community and we couldn't be prouder. We are committed to improving the quality of life of communities through environmental action!

We know that the conservation field has historically excluded community voices and lacked genuine relationship building. LCS is tackling that gap head on and creating bridges between conservation and communities in a way that has never been done before.

We accomplish this in three ways:

* Expert facilitation of workshops that provide your staff the tools to conduct effective community engagement that build genuine relationships and trust.

* Utilizing our expertise as conservation coaches to create a conservation plan based in the Conservation Standards that incorporates social and environmental metrics and outcomes.

* Conducting robust qualitative social science (focus groups, interviews, surveys) with key actors to get you data that will drive conservation decisions that are beneficial to nature and improves the quality of life of local communities.

If your conservation organization is looking for this expertise, then send me an email: [email protected]

Organizations are all at a crossroads of determining who they are and who they want to be. Choosing to stand up and face our current challenges is no easy task and sits on the shoulders of a few brave organizations. It takes courage to keep helping communities in the face of financial uncertainty and to keep investing in employees with the optimism that things will get better one day.

LCS is working with some amazing organizations right now that refuse to give up hope and we are so thankful for every opportunity to collaborate. Know that people are watching and they are seeing how you continue to uplift communities. We stand with you. Please reach out to LCS and add your name to the growing list of organizations that refuse to stop helping.......because it is the right thing to do. One step at a time.

Email me: [email protected] and lets talk about how we can help you take that next step. Its never too late to stand back up and do the right thing.

Lacy Consulting Services has survived so much: Covid, mini-recessions, social pressures, political chaos, financial instability, and more. Each time we come back stronger and it even appears we are thriving. People ask how I'm able to keep doing that. The answer is clear for me. I am fully aligned with my values and my purpose.

What is your purpose? Why do you keep going even though it is hard? If you ever want to chat more about my purpose and how that fits into the future of conservation, you can always send me a message.
