held its Annual Gala at Cipriani Wall Street. A non-profit dedicated to finding a cure for Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (D.I.P.G.)

The Cristian Rivera Foundation was created in honor of John “Gungie” Rivera’s son, Cristian Rivera, who was diagnosed with this rare, aggressive pediatric brain stem tumor at just four years old.

This star-studded evening brought together celebrities, supporters, and advocates for a memorable night. It featured a red-carpet reception, award ceremony, live and silent auctions, and dancing.

Hosts for the evening were SNLs Kenan Thompson, Darlene Rodrigues, and Malik Yoba.

Notable attendees included Berto Colon, along with actor Sean Ringgold, renowned miniature artist Danny Cortes, NABO Super Middleweight Boxing Champion Edgar Berlanga, MLB player Harrison Bader,, NY Yankees Player Oswaldo Cabrera, American musician John “Jellybean” Benitez, and media personality AJ Calloway.

enCourage Kids Foundation hosted its 11th Annual Serving Up Smiles, marking a milestone 40 years of making hospitals a better place to get better. The spectacular evening brought together celebrity chefs, media personalities, and philanthropists for an unforgettable night of culinary excellence and compassion.

Guests indulged in signature dishes from NYC’s top restaurants, sipped world-class wines and spirits, an exciting auction, and enjoyed live entertainment by DJ CHEF and Matias Letelier, Mentalist & Illusionist. The event’s buzzing atmosphere captured the perfect blend of New York sophistication and heartfelt generosity—all in support of enCourage Kids’ pediatric programs in hospitals nationwide.

The evening was emceed by ABC Sports Anchor Ryan Field, with Chef Glenn Rolnick (Carmine’s/Virgil’s Real BBQ) serving as Culinary Chair. Jean Butler, President enCourage Kids, took to the stage and delivered a heartfelt message sharing the importance of giving back and how their pediatric hospital programs enhance the lives of hospitalized children.

Honored this year was Mike Puma, Founder of Gotham Burger Social Club, recipient of the inaugural Culinary Community Champion Award for his dedication to giving back through food and friendship. Skeery Jones, Danielle Monaro, and Gandhi—radio hosts from Elvis Duran and the Morning Show—were among the evening’s special guests, savoring the culinary creations and taking to the stage with an inspiring call to action to raise funds for enCourage Kids’ pediatric programs.

The beloved participating restaurants featured crowd favorites included and to name a few.

The beverage partners were a crowd favorite and included JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery, FIJI Water, Madame Backlash Gin, Zyr Vodka, and additional premium brands that kept spirits high all night long.
