EX:Panse Records is an UK independent underground electronic music label specializing in Techno, focusing on the genres of minimal, electro and techno and is the label of British Techno Producer Funk Rider X who runs the label alongside fellow producers Pete “Blackspark” Ward and Eat The Rainbow. Creating the label in 2020, Funk Rider
X has created this record label to truly explore and create endless boundaries within techno, offering an platform for artists of the genre to fully experiment with their productions, been given the opportunity to truly think outside of the box with the no rules method that EX:Panse offers, giving like minded artists the opportunity to truly run wild with their imagination and creativity having a platform to create new, original and unique forms of techno with no restrictions and unlike most majority of labels, been given full creative control and complete freedom to truly express themselves artistically with their vision. EX:Panse Records truly will offer an alternative in the industry, at a time currently when 99% of labels for the most part are following trends and what`s popular with the current beatport top 100, EX:Panse aims to help break this mould giving artists the chance to fully be themselves with their sound with no restrictions or having to fit in with certain trends and giving producers an platform where they can truly create their own vision with their sound without been pigeonholed. EX:Panse will truly offer an alternative for techno and underground electronic music as a whole, bringing something different, original and unique to the electronic music industry giving the newest, up and coming techno producers an platform to truly express themselves and their creations. EX:Panse Records will serve as the home for Funk Rider X alongside Pete “Blackspark” Ward and Eat The Rainbow, and the label will serve as a platform for the label owner and the label managers for their productions enabling these artists to fully express themselves with their versions of Techno with their creatively, as they set out to create new, original, alternative unique forms of the genre with the label truly giving them the opportunity to fully stamp their authority in the world of techno and electronic music as a whole. Happy New Year everyone 🎊🎉🎉🍷🎈. 2025 is officially here. And this year will mark the final year of "EX:Panse Records" as we return this summer 🌞🏝️ with our final batch of releases as an label before we go on an long hiatus. We will begin our release schedule this summer 🌞. After taking an break last year, we really aim to go out in style for 2025 our final regular year. Our first two releases for this year, will be with "Assault On Precinct 303" from TJ Nexus and "The Flight Of The 303 Navigator" from Funk Rider X for EXR015 and EXR016 respectably. Funk Rider X Presents his first EX:Panse Records release for 2024 for EXR:016 with the Pre-Masters for "The Flight Of The 303 Navigator". 135-138 BPM Techno with Minimal, Industrial, Acid and Hard Edged sounds. Introducing the original mix of "The Flight Of The 303 Navigator", the other track will include Hydradrone 5000`s Pure 303 Mix to give an glimpse into the first Funk Rider X EX:Panse release for 2024. Having been featured in New Year`s Dash recently, these pre-masters are an first look at both of these tracks and an sneak peak into what lies ahead at EX:Panse Records for this year.
Having an fantastic 2023 on the label where Funk Rider X received support on his releases from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati, Marco Carola, Joris Voorn and Paco Osuna plus many more the EX:Panse label boss presents his first offering for the UK imprint for 2024 with "The Flight Of The 303 Navigator". Emphasizing on the iconic famous 303 acid bass sound is the theme of this EP, especially with these two versions of the EP title track. Using digital software to create the famous acid 303 sound, as well as analogue with the Roland TB-03 (303) "The Flight Of The 303 Navigator" displays how different methods of synthesis can create the famous 303 bass sound. These Pre-Masters include the Original Mix by Funk Rider X, and the Pure 303 Mix by his live project alias Hydradrone 5000. And the theme of this EP, is exploring that concept starting first with these versions of the EP title track. All demos must be mastered, and be in WAV format at 24-34 Bit in 44100 Hhz, 320 Kps in private links.
