Dear APS Martyrs
To the ones looking at us from above,
As I sit here writing this, my eyes fill up with tears not because we don't have you amongst anymore but because I am so inspired by all of you. As I sit here, I realise how much you've given to this country, how much you contributed and sacrificed as the halls were painted with your blood but don't be sad because red is just as much a colour of fear as it is of love. And you, my heroes, instilled in my soul, a never ending love for this country, for this world, for yourselves. You are not only the heroes of APS, Peshawar or Pakistan, you're the heroes of this world, and this entire galaxy for I am sure you all were taken before us because the skies couldn't bear such precious souls being away from them for so long. I am certain all of you are still together playing hide and seek in the corridors of the Heaven, and trust me when I say this, Heaven is so lucky to have angels like you walking around. It's so lucky to listen to the laugh we haven't heard in a year. It's so lucky for it has what we do not anymore. It's so lucky to have you!
In Shaa Allah, we'll all be together again pretty soon and we'll live above as we lived down on Earth, just a little more happier and a little less fearful for then we would know nobody can do anything to us! We will be together for eternity. And when we come back and meet you all, I'm sure we will be able to look you in the eye and say "we did it, we did it for you!" because you gave us what we had lost. You gave us the power to dream, to rise and to shine and most importantly you showed that our strength lies in unity and you showed the entire world how to stay strong and never surrender to the evil souls which have inundated our land today, for you my friends have forever stirred in the hearts of such evil souls, terror and fear and a memory they will never forget. You're this nation's heroes and we look up to all of you everyday. You guys did what no one else could. You're this nation's pride. With every breath Pakistan takes, it remembers you, it remembers the "fragrance" of your blood and it remembers the motive you gave us. You guys were our beacon of light in the abyss of ignorance and we shall never forget you. You live within us, within our minds and our hearts. Till we meet again friends !
