Many plants that are rooted into the ground rely on animals to eat and spread their seeds to new locations through their excrement.
In response to rising temperatures, some plants will need to migrate to new habitats to survive, which is where the role of animals become increasingly important.

Hewlett-Packard's company name was almost Packard-Hewlett

Bill Hewlett and David Packard graduated from University in 1935. In typical fashion for the industry (that would become much more commonplace in the years to come) the two started their business in a garage.

The company was properly formed in 1939, though the pair could not decide on a name and ended up flipping a coin to determine whose name would come first. Thus HP was born, it could have easily have been PH instead.

India ranks 131 in global mobile data speeds

India has been the biggest consumer of smartphone internet. The country ranks 131 in mobile data speeds. The adoption of cheaper 4G connection has further helped in connecting remote parts of the country. Despite the adoption of smartphone internet, the country lags behind Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka when it comes to 4G speeds. Ookla's Speedtest Global Index lists the countries based on mobile internet speeds.

According to the index, the average global download speed is 35.26 Mbps. India is far behind with an average speed of just 12.07 Mbps. The global average upload speed is 11.22 Mbps and latency is 42 ms. India lags at 4.31 Mbps and higher latency of 52 ms.

Countries like Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka have ranked higher than India in this chart. Nepal stands at 102, Pakistan at 116, and Sri Lanka at 117 rank in this list. India fares better at 70th rank when it comes to fixed-line broadband.

The global index is published every year. India has always been at the lower positions in the list. With content creators publishing 4K videos, having higher bandwidth and slightly better latency is much important.

Indian telecom providers have comparatively cheaper data packages. It is possible that the low data rates have resulted in a weaker financial position for the telcos, forcing them to lower their expenses, which may further impact the data speeds that they offer to end customers.

You can code programs using just whitespaces

Do you know that you can code using just whitespaces? The programming language that makes it possible is called ‘Whitespace’. All it takes to write a program in this language is to use the spaces, tabs, and linefeeds. The interpreter ignores any non-whitespace characters.
It is super cool, right! You can use this to write programs that no one can read or understand unless they know that there is something written on a seemingly blank notepad.
