It hits different when it’s no longer a place you help…
not a place you serve occasionally…
not a place you’re just partnered with…

…but it’s your church.

Today I found myself walking through Life Church Allentown doing what I love...looking at signs, systems, creative flow, and marketing things no one else notices 😂...and God gently reminded me to not get lost in the doing as excellence builds a great service, but discipleship builds the Kingdom.

New gratitude.
Deep appreciation for what God is building in and through His church.

I think I’m starting a little series—visiting each location, snapping photos, and sharing the beauty of what God is doing across cities, people, and communities. What a joy it is to serve in this season.

Grateful beyond words.
Thank you Pastors Jon & Andrea for trusting us.

That one time the word for the year was "Go" and you thought, "for sure that doesn't mean us." And God said, "for sure it does."

See you soon, -- here's to building and serving the house in person in 2026.

This Christmas brought:
🎄 no tree
🎁 no presents
🍽️ no big dinner
❄️ snow in the near future
📦 and A LOT of boxes

After 23 Christmases together, and I have officially unlocked the minimalist, obedience-core holiday package.

And if you’re like us, and your Christmas looks different this year...here’s a friendly reminder that Hope is alive and well, even in the new, even in the different.

The last few months have honestly felt like a beautiful blur.

A lot of reflecting. A lot of releasing. A lot of placing things back into God’s hands as we step toward a new season and a new assignment.

Here are a few things the Lord has been reminding me along the way:

1. Hold everything loosely.
Not because you’re afraid to lose it, but because it was never yours to own in the first place. God entrusts—He doesn’t transfer ownership.

2. Quitting isn’t a Kingdom principle… but rest is.
God is never done with us, but He does invite us to pause. Discernment is learning the difference between walking away in fear and laying something down in faith. Jesus rested, withdrew, and listened—so we do too.

3. Nothing is wasted.
Every season—yesterday and today—is somehow being used by God to prepare us for tomorrow. Hope is still alive. Seeds are still growing, even when we can’t see them yet.

Here's to More lessons and the same faithful God still leading us forward.

Earth rewards titles.
Heaven entrusts authority.

One shapes moments.
The other shapes eternity.

Jesus chose the towel, not the throne.
He led by laying His life down.

If we’re going to lead, let it be His way, the way of the cross, the way of love, the way that lasts.

It’s a strange, sacred feeling to release your storms and your lessons onto paper… but here it is. Every page carries pieces of what I’ve walked through and who I’m still becoming as I journey toward the ways, the truth, and the life of Jesus. My prayer is simple—that this devotional stirs your desire to know Him deeper and follow Him with true devotion.

✨My new book releases this Friday, and it’s something I don’t want you to miss.✨

Psalm 23 reminds us that still waters are a promise — a place He leads us so our souls can breathe. But the heartbeat of this book is what happens when the waters aren’t still.

Storms rise.
Seasons shift.
Life swells beyond what we can hold.
Yet the presence of God doesn’t falter.

He steps into the chaos with us, steady and close, speaking peace in the very places that feel overwhelming.

This trailer is a glimpse of that story — the calm, the storm, and the God who stays through it all.

December 5. I can’t wait to share these pages with you.

Here’s the thing: my marketing for this book has been basically non-existent. Not because I forgot, but because I’ve been busy pulling down sails, drying off the deck, and tucking the boat away after the storm finally passed.

But this book matters. And next week — December 5th — it sets sail into the world. When it drops, I’d love for you to grab a copy, jump on board, and step into this new journey with me.

There’s fresh wind ahead. 🌬⚓️Onward.

✨WHY ANOTHER BOOK✨
This started as a sermon series I wrote for Hope—one I tucked away “just in case” we got hit by another hurricane. (Which honestly felt like it kept happening… in the weather and in real life.)

Then the call to release came, and suddenly I was sitting with storm stories and lessons I thought I’d never use. I remember asking God, “What was the point of all this?”

And in that familiar whisper, I heard:
“It was never a series for Hope. These were the lessons you needed for the assignment I gave you.”

So I cried. I got mad. Then I sat with it… until now. Because here we are—another season of release.

It would be easier to hide, to isolate, to disappear quietly.
But the call is still the same:
Build.
Love.
Don’t tear down.
Don’t run.
Don’t hide.

So here I am—inviting you into the journey.

Into the learning, the surrendering, the letting go of what you thought would make you “saintly”…and embracing what God is actually using to make you whole.

My new book is officially available for pre-sale. If you’re ready to walk through the storms with purpose, I’d love to walk with you.

Sometimes you don’t need the storm to stop… you just need the "sense" to know what’s happening in it. 🌀

Discernment won’t always spare you from the waves (just ask Paul in Acts 27), but it will steady your spirit, anchor your hope, and help you persevere when the ship starts creaking.

Storms don’t make you weak, still waters do.
But discernment? That’s where saints are forged. ⚓️

Pre-order 'Still Waters Don’t Make Saints,' today — Kindle, e-book, and paperback available for Pre-sale on Amazon and everywhere books are sold.
