Midwestern Storm Trackers was founded on January 17,2021 when a small group of friends that share the same passion for weather so they decided to create a page and website to keep their families and friends updated when they are out storm chasing. Now we have a mission is to provide ground truth weather reports to the National Weather Service also to locals, we also provide live streams a

nd quality photos and videos, and promote weather safety online and out in the field to make communities more prepared for severe weather!

Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northwestern Jefferson County in east central Missouri... Southwestern Saint Louis County in east central Missouri...

* Until 500 PM CDT.

* At 425 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Byrnes Mill, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

New chase vehicle to the fleet!

This is a 2009 Toyota 4 runner with 159k miles! It's ready to go chase now but there will be updates soon! A few things to do before next season is throw up a mesonet, lighting, and hail guards.

This will also be a dedicated SAR K9 vehicle with interior modifications to aid in Carl's (K9) safety and K9 deployment. As well as tools like chainsaws and recovery equipment to assist in emergencies.
