Last night, we were invited to the advanced screening of The Conjuring: Last Rites by Warner Bros. Pictures! 👀

Like every Conjuring movie before it, Last Rites was scary enough to make us check the corners of our room after… but it also felt like the perfect way to wrap things up. Galing! 🖤 We’ll definitely miss seeing Ed and Lorraine Warren brought to life by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga: our forever horror OTP.🫶

It’s horror, sure, but not the kind we’re used to. Weapons is a slow burn, eerie as hell, and there’s something ancient simmering beneath it all. We felt it without needing it spelled out. And the kids? Usually overdone, but here they add just the right amount of dread. It lingers.

We also appreciated how the film blends reality with the unsettling. The horror doesn’t just wait for the dark. It creeps in during the daylight and that’s what made it stick with us.

Big thanks to Warner Bros. Pictures for inviting us to the premiere!

WEAPONS opens only in cinemas this Wednesday, August 6. Rated R-16.
