Sorry friends, I haven't posted a video in a while, but as you can see I have a good excuse.

My second son, Isaiah, was born on March 2nd and is filling my days with happiness.

I'll be back soon for more content on the best genre of literature (that's Historical Fiction btw), but until then my days are mostly diapers, making weird faces, and a lot of reading.

It is always a sad moment when we lose a great writer, but the loss felt particularly heavy with Robert Low, who I have praised and recommended for years. His first novel was the book that got me in love with the Historical Fiction genre and I have enjoyed all of his novels since then.

For those who don't know him, Robert Low was one of the greatest writers of Historical Fiction, and not only of our time. From Vikings, to Gladiators, through Scottish warriors of different times, Robert Low has given us a bunch of rough-around-the-edges, easily irritable, and brutish characters.

No fancy history here, it's all very grim, bloody, and real life, but in fiction, for our great pleasure.

And if you want to know more, it's time to review some amazing historical fiction in this video, and to decide which of his novels you will read first.
