Dear diary, it's Saturday and I'm home teaching my 5 year olds how to read while my peers are out having fun. I'm not complaining because I like being home but man, couldn't my kids be older so that I can chill with cool people. šŸ™„šŸ™„

Anyway, can someone tell Jesus I need winešŸ„ŗ

Dear diary, today I woke up and yelled "F**K THEM KIDS!" at the top of my lungs. Then went for a walk with Panda to cool off. Honestly, motherhood is just turning me into a crazy person šŸ˜­ anyway, lemme go get cuddles.

Dear diary,
I have a confident daughter. I let her help me with my outfits because she has the ability to get dressed, put on lipstick, throw on a wig and walk out the house without having even looked in the mirror.

That had me thinking, isn't that how we are meant to be with our faith? Wear the armor of God and walk out with the confidence that God is who He says He is. Walk out in faith and not wait for validation from the world.

We often feel as though what we have is what makes us when instead, they are meant to make us shine brighter. Through Panda, I see just why Jesus says the Kingdom of God is like little children. She is well positioned in her faith. She's confident in her God, which makes her confident in herself.

So today, I hope you see just how beautiful you are without needing to validate it. ā™„ļøHappy Wednesday.

I used to think I was a bad mum for ending up in full-blown arguments with my five-year-oldā€¦ until, mid-debate, she looked at me and said, ā€œWait, Rethabileā€¦ hear me first.ā€

In that moment I realised just how quickly I react instead of actually trying to resolve the situation. But it also showed me something beautiful: Panda hears me. Sheā€™s taking in more than I think. She understands why sheā€™s being corrected, and Iā€™m learning who she is and how her little mind works.

Donā€™t get me wrongā€”sheā€™s still five. The tears, the tantrums, the dramatics worthy of a whole soapieā€¦ theyā€™re all there. But even when sheā€™s overwhelmed, she somehow manages to articulate herself so well. ā™„ļø

Itā€™s kinda amazing watching her grow from a tiny crying blob into this brilliant, thoughtful little girl. Honestlyā€¦ what a blessing

šŸŒ™ Good evening, Kingdom Builders & Mini Disciples!

Haha, I almost skipped this today. I mean, why share the Word when everyone can read it themselves, right? šŸ˜… But then God reminded meā€”obedience isnā€™t just about not doing the things we think are ā€œbad.ā€ Itā€™s about giving Him our hearts completely.

Obedience is showing up when you donā€™t feel like it. Itā€™s choosing Him over comfort. Itā€™s saying, ā€œLord, Iā€™d rather scroll through my phone right now, but here I am.ā€ šŸ“–

Trust me, fighting the flesh is tough. The flesh will say, ā€œRelax, you can pray tomorrow.ā€ But Jesus? Jesus is like, ā€œNah, child, we pray NOW.ā€ šŸ˜‚ And honestly, Iā€™m grateful because God never leaves us strandedā€”He gives us strength, peace, and most importantly, Jesus to help us stay focused.

So, today, letā€™s be obedientā€”not just in avoiding sin but in seeking Him, in resting in Him, and in trusting that our little acts of faithfulness matter more than we know. Yes, itā€™s okay to be tired. But letā€™s rest in God, not in disobedience.

I love you all. Sleep well knowing that God is working in you and through you! ā¤ļø

šŸ™ Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding us that obedience is more than just avoiding sinā€”itā€™s about giving You our hearts daily. Help us to choose You even when itā€™s hard, even when weā€™re tired, and even when the flesh tries to pull us away. Strengthen us to walk in faithfulness and remind us that our obedience is never in vain. We trust in You, and we rest in Your unfailing love. In Jesusā€™ name, Amen.
