Former Birmingham Radio Talent JusNik Takes the PM Drive at WBLS, NYC by Storm
New York, NY March 30, 2023 - The radio scene in Birmingham, AL is watching as former on air personality NuYork previously of 95.7 Jamz now going by on air moniker, JusNik on legendary powerhouse station WBLS, 107.5 in New York is making waves in the entertainment scene. After co-hosting the popular Buckewilde Morning Show and the Roy Wood Jr. Show, she created her own show, The Midday Kickback before taking the helm of PM drive (3 PM- 7 PM) at WBLS in New York. Her ratings increase took her show "The JusNik Show" from #8 18-34 in July 2022 to #1 18-34 by the second week in December and the number #1 rated PM drive show in every demo in New York.
JusNik's interviews have been stirring, to say the least. She conducted the first interview with Wendy Williams, the host of the long-time daytime talk show The Wendy Williams Show, after a long hiatus at WBLS's annual Circle of Sisters. And last week, JusNik had a heart-to-heart interview with actor and singer Co Co Jones, co-star of the 90's sitcom "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air remake "Bel-Air," where Co Co Jones opened up about her hesitation of auditioning for the role of Hilary Banks played by Karen Parsons. In addition, JusNik had an emotional interview with singer and actor Tyrese, star of the long-running movie franchise "The Fast and Furious" and blockbuster movie "Transformers" where he shared his heartbreak after his divorce and the release of his new single "You Never Loved Me."
Recently, JusNik sat down with Daymond John, host of the popular television show "Shark Tank" where he shared the importance of his new children's book aimed at television financial literacy and showing children how to start and cultivate a business.
From Samuel L. Jackson, to NeYo and Sherri Shepherd, host of the daytime talk show, "The Sherri Shepherd Show", JusNik is showing New York what people in Birmingham have known all along that stars shine bright anywhere they go. JusNik's talent for conducting compelling interviews has made her a standout personality in the radio industry.
