I never posted here…. But I do want to show some appreciation to all the people who have supported my podcast. You have inspired me to use my story to try and make a difference in someone else’s life.
Also, I think it’s important to show the progression that I’ve made in order to have any credibility. If I can change from a reckless gangbanger who grew up in poverty, I know anyone can do it.
If I told you that I’ve been out a little more than 4 years and I’ve made many mistakes and missteps, that would fit my profile. Because at one time I was a true f**k up. And believe it or not, that element will be in me for the rest of my life. But how I choose to harness that will determine my success and that goes for everybody else.
In these 4 years, I attained my CDL, became an owner/operator of a small company. And I failed, but I pivoted and kept moving. I chose to become an electrician and put my life on a better path. Like I said, along the way I have made mistakes and I’m sure they won’t be the last . But I can finally say that I am proud of who and what I am as a man. Coming from nothing, to owning 2 homes with a career in 4 years seems unrealistic. But I’m here to tell you that with hard work anyone can accomplish their goals and dreams. F**k what people say, f**k what other people do. Do it for yourself and become someone that YOU ARE proud of. If people fade during that process, then we have to realize that God did not want those people in your life. And I will end this by saying, no matter what you do or what you accomplish, give the glory to God. Without God, you will always be empty. I hope and pray that we all become as successful as we aspire to be. I’m rooting for you. Berto out- peace ✌️
