Good goals from Buendia, Barkley & Madjo. Lots of possession, looked tidy & important minutes across the squad. Nedeljkovic with a good shift in 1st half, Joao Gomes, Alysson, Lynch, Hemmings & Madjo all doing well in 2nd half.

Good run out so far, decent test in the conditions. Tidy play across the pitch, good to see Lindelof & McGinn come back in & add quality. Ross Barkley with a lovely goal, Nedeljkovic impressing on the right, always a willing runner.

Important boost seeing Pau get mins & start his pre-season tonight. Modou Cisse, Joao Gomes, George Hemmings & Brian Madjo all impressed, fascinated to see if the younger trio can keep improving & really establish themselves in Emery’s plans.

Cisse so composed & efficient, impressed with him again. Joao Gomes a tenacious & commanding presence in front of the defence. George Hemmings, excellent. Movement, touch, passing and top finish for his goal. Continues to impress.
