This is The Vineyard Hotel, set on the banks of the Liesbeek River with Table Mountain views, beautiful gardens, and the warmest service. From the moment I checked in, it just felt like the perfect mix of luxury and comfort. I stayed in the Deluxe Mountain Facing room and honestly... waking up to that Table Mountain view every morning was unreal.

The hotel has so many ways to spoil you. From the pool and gym to the Angsana Spa where you can sneak in a massage or facial when you need some extra relaxation. And then, of course, the food. Between Afternoon Tea at Morii, wine-paired dinners at The Square, and delicious breakfasts, I never stopped looking forward to the next meal.

Last year I went on a trip to the Golden Gate National Park, and I did it in one of my favourite vehicles, the AT35, also known as The Arctic Truck.

The road trip kicked off in Joburg! I drove around 4 hours and eventually made my way to Clarens. Once I arrived in the Golden Gate National Park, I set up camp in Glen Reenen Rest Camp and stayed there for 2 days.

There are so many things to do in this area, so it’s definitely worth the trip. There is plenty of sightseeing, you can go on beautiful hikes (Cathedral Cave is my personal favourite), you can do quad biking and horseback riding, there are great restaurants and you can do a beer tasting at the local brewery!

I think I just found the best hotel in Cape Town, South Africa!

My favourite time of the year is officially here! Hello Spring! 🌸🌼

For me, the reason I love spring so much is because everything comes back to life. The flowers start to bloom, and the world shifts from dullness to vibrant greenery.. and it’s my birthday month! 😄🥳

So now that the cold has passed, the warm days are here and with them come so many adventures. I’ve got some epic plans lined up this summer: from road trips, waterfall swims and paddleboarding, to camping under the stars, ocean dips, and hiking in the Drakensberg!

My first trip is happening this weekend where I’ll head to the Drakensberg for a weekend hike. ⛰️

Throwback it back to my epic trip to Namibia in 2022!

This trip was a result of a very impulsive decision. My friend asked me 2 days before the trip started if I wanted to join, and how can you say no to something like this. I booked my flight and the next thing I knew, i was in a flight on my way to Namibia!

When we arrived, we got a 4x4 from a car rental company (which comes with an overlanding tent) and made our way to Sesriem campsite. The road was quite long and we arrived after dark, but the next morning, we woke up to the most beautiful scenery and so our adventure in Sossuvlei started.

We ended up spending our whole trip here, heading in and out of Sossus- and Deadvlei. These landscapes were so beautiful, we just couldn’t get enough of it.

After a full week, we headed back to the airport (we also got a flat tyre along the way. If you are travelling within Namibia, always ensure that you have a spare tyre) and made our way back to SA. This is a trip that I would highly recommend to anyone!
