Animated by one of our resident artists, Luther Tibudan, for Islands Souvenirs’ Sinulog Festival campaign, known to be the Philippines’ biggest and grandest festival, based in Cebu City, Philippines.

The mini project is a three-part 30-seconder series that connects the brand to a younger market through how-tos, fashion, and stop-motion.

The mini project aims to capture a youthful creative direction through eye-catching illustrations and cartoonish animations.

One of our resident designers, Stephen Esic, worked on a visual identity side project a while back with Kilometro, a concept budget ride-sharing service based in Mindanao, Philippines.

Kilometro pushes itself as a reliable ride service that is accessible for users anytime and anywhere with competitive rates. For us to reflect this in Kilometro’s identity, we opted to include a friendly face in their logo.

The background used in the brand’s collaterals also shows an illustrated map of Iligan City, the first area in Mindanao where Kilometro will be conceptually launched, with an optimism for covering the rest of Mindanao in the future.

The goal of the visual identity is to ultimately evoke that feeling of ease and relaxation during commute, contrary to the glaring reality of the country’s hectic transportation system.
