EPISODE 159: August 1, 2002, 17-year-old Jacque Marris was parked at a well-known spot in Quartz Hill, CA overlooking Palmdale. She was with her friend, Frank, and just after midnight a man approached them with a gun. He tied Frank’s hands to the steering wheel and his head to the headrest. He was about to tie Jacque up but in a last minute decision he decided to take her instead. He forced her into a nearby white ford bronco (not OJ’s), and when she got in she noticed a pair of legs next to her. She initially thought it was a dead body but it was actually 16-year-old honor student: Tamara Brooks. For the next 12 hours these strangers would become the most important people in each other’s lives.

EPISODE 158: In 1998, a woman was cooking breakfast when there was a knock on her door. She opened it and found 6-year-old Brooke Sutton covered in blood begging for help. Brooke was staying with her grandmother, Judy Johnson, next door and a man came in and attacked them, killing 58-year-old Judy. Brooke could identify the attacker, but it would take years and a hell of a fight from her aunt Melinda to really get justice.

The plan for a quick drop off turned dark and this would be the beginning of a double life unveiled. Eventually, the double murder of Susan Place & Georgia Jessup would bring justice against this monster, but sadly there were many more victims that he never had to answer for.

She ran into the bathroom as an attempt to lock herself in but was overpowered by a monster wielding a large serrated knife. Cops thought the perpetrator was obvious but that was far from true, and it took nearly 12 years to figure it out.

She told them she wasn’t interested and started to close the door but they barged in and attacked her. Little did they know, one of her roommates, Sunny Han was in the bathroom and heard the commotion. When they found her, they realized that she was the intended target, not her roommate. Why was she the target? Who are these buffoons? This case is twisted AF.
