✨ What’s Going on Wednesday? ✨
We’re saying goodbye to sweet little Bell Buckle, Tennessee 🐎—right in the heart of horse country—and wow, what a ride it’s been these past 4+ months! From mornings spent on the farm surrounded by horses to evenings filled with small-town charm, this tight-knit community has truly felt like home. 💛
Being just around the corner from Nearest Greene Distillery was a treat—did you know Uncle Nearest retired and handed his recipe + equipment to his errand boy, Jack Daniels? 🥃 And speaking of treats, the staff and food at Humble Baron inside Nearest Greene were some of the BEST we’ve had anywhere—and one of the very few places in our travels we’ve visited multiple times! That’s how good it is. 🙌
And of course, Shovel Pizza in Shelbyville deserves a big shout-out—delicious pies + top-notch people 🍕. Tennessee, you’ve been one of our absolute favorites in 4 ½ years of RV travel.
But the wheels keep turning ➡️ we’re rolling into Carlisle, KY until Sept 24th, then off to Columbus, OH for some family time before heading to Elkhart, IN for October. John already has his Level 1 RVTI certification, and October is all about leveling UP to Level 2 📚🔧. After that, it’s New Braunfels, TX for the winter, and back to Bon Aqua, TN next year.
👉 We’re also on the hunt for a new home base! Our current spot is in Northern NH, but with 5 kids scattered from Northern VT all the way to El Paso, TX, we’d love to find something a little more central.
💬 Drop us a comment—where’s YOUR favorite place that feels like “home base”?
