Partners in Change: Supporting Recovery and Wellness Across Sectors
The Southern Illinois Drug Awareness Conference provides a vital platform for collaboration and education, bringing together local agencies, community stakeholders, and professionals from diverse sectors to address the critical intersectionality of substance use, mental health, and homelessness.
This two-day event is dedicated to fostering understanding, sharing innovative practices, and building partnerships that create lasting impact in our communities. Participants will include social workers, educators, law enforcement, healthcare providers, child and family service representatives, prevention specialists, treatment providers, recovery support specialists, and veteransโ organizations.
Through keynote presentations, expert-led panels, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities, attendees will explore strategies to:
Break down barriers to care and support for individuals and families.
Address stigma surrounding addiction, mental health, and homelessness.
Enhance coordination across sectors for holistic solutions.
Promote resilience, recovery, and wellness in affected communities.
