পুনর্জন্ম বলে যদি কিছু থাকতো,
আমি আবার জন্ম নিতাম সেই দিনেই—
যেদিন তোমার চোখে প্রথমবার
নিজেকে খুঁজে পেয়েছিলাম।

আমি ফিরে যেতাম সেই মুহূর্তে,
যখন তোমার ঠোঁটের কাছে এসেছিল
একটি কথা, বলা হয়নি শেষ পর্যন্ত—
সেই অর্ধেক উচ্চারণই তো
আমার সমস্ত জীবন জুড়ে বাজে।

পুনর্জন্মে যদি আমি আসতে পারতাম—

গ্রামের মোড়ে একটি ছোট দুর্ঘটনার জন্য দুটি গাড়ি সমানভাবে দায়ী। উভয় চালকই আলোচনা করছেন যে এই ঘটনার জন্য কে বেশি দায়ী। হঠাৎ, গাঢ় নীল রঙের ফ্রক পরা একটি মেয়ে, খোলা চুলের দুপাশে দুটি গোলাপ বাঁধা। সে অন্য গাড়ির চালককে একটি কার্ড দিয়ে বলল যে, যদি তুমি কোন জরিমানা বা ফিক্সিং খরচ চাও, তাহলে যোগাযোগ করতে পারো। কারণ রাস্তার মাঝখানে এখনই সমাধান খুঁজে বের করা অনিরাপদ এবং আমি বাড়ি ফিরে যেতে তাড়াহুড়ো করছি। এখন পর্যন্

যদি তুমি কাউকে অনুভব করো তারপর ভালো বোধ করো, তাহলে তোমার সেই ব্যক্তির প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞ থাকা উচিত। কারণ তুমি সেই ব্যক্তির জন্য আলাদা বোধ করছো এবং তুমি জানো না কেন, যদিও তোমার যৌন সঙ্গী আছে। হরমোনের প্রভাব বাস্তব, কিন্তু কখনও কখনও তুমি দেখে অভিভূত হও এবং হরমোন এটির উপর কাজ শুরু করে। হরমোন সবসময় প্রথমে কাজ নাও করতে পারে। যদি তুমি ভালোবাসাকে শুধু হরমনের প্রভাবে মনে করো তাহলে আমার প্রশ্ন হল তাহলে তুমি কিভাবে অভিভূত হও? তুমি কিভাবে শিহরিত? যুক্তি দিয়ে যেমন ধর্ম প্রমান করা যায় না, যুক্তি দিয়ে ভালোবাসা ও না।
