The studio now features the horsepower of two Universal Audio Apollo's! The Apollo x16 has been on my radar for quite some time, and I got a chance to grab one for a great deal! Not only does this give me 24 Channels of I/O, but this enables me to do it at higher samples rates, and it gives me more processing power for my collection of UAD plugins! Can't wait to see what this new gear does for me and my clients!

Just added an Distressor, an 76D, and two 160A's to the rack! My mixes are night and day from what I was able to do before, and I can't wait to put some of my upcoming projects through these units!

Just added an G-Bus Compressor to the line-up! I'm stoked to try this on mixes and to see the studio continuing to grow! Analog gear has completely transformed what I am able to achieve, and there are more spaces in the rack to fill!

Got to put my woodworking hat on this weekend, and I put together a side rack for the studio! Cutting the wood and staining in the garage was cold, but it was worth it for the end result. Hopefully it won't look this empty for too long! 😅

Thanks to my amazing wife for helping me stain and put everything together!

Last but not least of the studio upgrades (for now) is the ART Pro VLA stereo Compressor!

Can't wait to get some tube bus compression on my mixes!

Some new editions to the studio! Scooped up the 76a as well as a WA-412. The hardware rack is looking so much cooler with these two!

Supernova Recording Studio is going analog!! 🎛

I'm very grateful to finally get my hands on some outboard gear, and what better way to start than with a Neve 1073 SPX! I'm so excited to hear the difference in my recordings!!

Got some more gear on the way for some upcoming projects, so stay tuned!

Recording an album soon, so figured now would be a good time to make some upgrades to room acoustics, and make the studio look a little nicer! Really happy with how this space is turning out!

REBRAND‼️ KJB Sound Studio got a bit of an upgrade and is now Supernova Entertainment, L.L.C.! It will also be going by the names Supernova Recording Studio, and Supernova Records!

There will be many more announcements to come, but as always, if you or your band are looking to record, mix, master, and produce music, give us a shout!
