OK, Cabot folks, the thunderstorm over you just went severe and is tracking south southeast with winds 55 to 60 mph… we are just north of Carlisle, looking back at Cabot at the storm… this storm does have a hail core to it, so far dime size is the only confirmed reports we’re getting…

First time we’ve been out in a couple months due to other obligations, but here’s this afternoon’s severe storm and special weather statement storms through central and East Central Arkansas . A few pictures to brighten your day! One of my favorite fuel stops, the Casey’s in Humnoke, which always seems to have several barn cats, and they always seem to find the Chase-X Team. This little guy got a couple Doritos and some much-needed loving…  and no, I didn’t take him home My wife would kill me.😹😹😹😹😹😹

Here’s your central Arkansas forecast while we’ve had some showers and storms in the lower section of the state today that brought a little bit of relief to areas. We still have some heat ahead of us before a major temperature change will happen… hopefully that 68° weather in the forecast holds on and doesn’t change…

All right, first response weather fans, we’re tracking several storms across Arkansas, Mississippi, the edge of Alabama, even all the way back to the edge of Oklahoma at this time. The first storm currently has a very significant hail core, and that is the severe warned storm near Tupelo, Mississippi. This storm is moving east southeast at about 20 miles per hour. This is the northeast line of a set of storms that stretches down near Starkville, Yazoo city, Greenville, and then back up into Arkansas near Arkansas Post. Then there are some storms just starting to form up over the Boston mountains, north of Maine, back over into the edge of Oklahoma, with one small storm cell at the north end of the Boston mountains, just southeast of Fayetteville. These storms are all moving south, southeast, at about 20 mph.
